Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2025
By accessing or using RoarSpot ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What RoarSpot is
RoarSpot is an independent, community-driven guide to football watch parties in Canada. We list venues, fan gatherings, and community screenings so fans can find somewhere to watch the game. We are not affiliated with FIFA, the World Cup, any participating team, host city, or tournament organiser.
Using the Service
You may browse listings, submit a watch party, and share links freely. You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or deliberately inaccurate listing information.
- Use the Service to spam, scrape, or commercially exploit listings without permission.
- Impersonate a venue, organiser, or RoarSpot staff.
- Attempt to interfere with the Service's operation or security.
Submitted listings
When you submit a watch party listing, you confirm that you have the right to do so — either because you are the organiser, or because the event information is publicly available. You grant RoarSpot a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share the listing information on the Service.
We review listings before publishing. We may reject, edit for clarity, or remove any listing at our discretion — including if it is inaccurate, inappropriate, or no longer active.
Accuracy of listings
Listings come from three sources: venue-confirmed, organiser-submitted, and publicly available information. We label each accordingly. We do our best to keep listings accurate, but event details — times, locations, entry fees, age policies — can change. Always confirm details directly with the venue before attending.
RoarSpot is not responsible for any loss, inconvenience, or expense arising from inaccurate listing information.
Intellectual property
The RoarSpot name, logo, and original content on this Service are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use them without written permission. See our Copyright Policy for details.
Third-party content and links
Listings may link to external websites (venue pages, reservation systems, etc.). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, RoarSpot is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or attendance at any listed event.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
